Focusing on a new treatment paradigm, this webinar will touch on the history of and recent progress in the development of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for mental health disorders, including current options in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

Dr. Michael Verbora and Monica Mina, NP will discuss the current evidence and ongoing clinical work that 51���� Health is facilitating, using psychedelic medicine to treat treatment-resistant mental health conditions with lasting success.

Dr. Verbora is 51����'s Medical Director. He earned an M.D. from Schulich School of 51���� at Western University in 2013 before completing his residency at the University of Toronto. He has emerged as a thought leader and is passionate about furthering his knowledge on holistic healing.

Monica Mina is 51����'s Director of Clinical Operations (Toronto). She has been working in the medical industry for 8 years, most recently as a nurse practitioner in acute care. She comes to 51���� with nursing experience in public health, trauma, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery. In acute care she developed a passion for mental health and wellness and alternative health treatments after meeting many patients who were not benefiting from traditional medicine. Through personal research she discovered the benefits of psychedelics for the treatment of many psychological ailments and looks forward to helping others achieve their mental wellness goals.
